To add an external website link to an image in an email template, a few steps must be performed.

First, the image would need to be inserted/uploaded to the email template, and the Windows Snipping Tool can be used to capture the image or the built-in Mac tool.

The next step will be to edit an email template.

Click on the blue Upload Image button

The image will now appear in the email template, and the second step will be to link that image to a URL/website link.

Click on the image that is now located within the email template until it turns blue. (Please note the image can be re-sized as well when clicking on it; just use the mouse to move the corners of the image.)

Clicking on the insert link icon (as shown by red arrow below) will bring up the following frame.

This is where the URL/website address needs to be inserted:

Once the URL/website address has been inserted and the target field is designated as New Window, click on OK.

You have now linked an image to a URL/website address! When an email recipient clicks on the image from the email they will be re-directed to the webpage! We recommend adding text to the email template that instructs them to click on the image.
