1. Log in to your GoDaddy Domain Control Center.

(Need help logging in? Find your username or password.)

2. On the left side where is the GoDaddy logo click on the Dots > in the dropdown menu select Domains.

Once you are in the Domain interface

3. Under the domain panel > Select your Domain.

This will redirect you to the Domain Settings page.

Scroll down and find the section called “Additional settings”.

4. Select Manage DNS under Additional Settings.

This will redirect you to the DNS management interface.

Note: If you already have a TXT entry, and you want to edit that entry instead of creating a new TXT record. You just have to click on the Edit button. Otherwise, go to step number 5 to add a new record.

To locate the TXT record. Navigate into Domains > My Domains > Select your domain > Domain settings > Manage DNS > Under DNS Records find TXT record and click on edit.

5. Select Add button to create a new record.

Define how your domain behaves, like showing your website content and delivering your email. To add a new DNS record start by selecting a record type.

6. Select TXT from the Type menu options. Remember, SPF records are a type of TXT record.

7. Enter the details for your SPF record:

Name: The hostname for the record.

Type @ to put the SPF record on your root domain.

Value: The SPF rule to be applied to indicate emails are allowed from your mail server and no others.

Type v=spf1 include:spf.inspectionsupport.com ~all

TTL: How long the server should cache information.

Select 1 hour.

8. Then, just save your changes and you are all set!

(A success message will appear)

Note: Most DNS updates take effect within an hour, but could take up to 48 hours to update globally.
