Requirements

  1. First, you need to sign up with ADT (for ADT Pays)
  2. Second, you need to know your Promo Code from ADT, an example might be A123456

Now, click on Settings and then on Office Settings. In the lower left look for ADT Security.

Inside of the ADT Settings panel enter your ADT Promo Code

Next, we need to edit the email templates to include one of the template replacement values:

%adt-promo-image% - this will include a banner ad and a link to ADT using your promo code

%adt-promo-image-400% - this will include a banner ad (400px wide) and a link to ADT using your promo code

%adt-promo-link% - this will include just text a link to ADT using your promo code

%adt-promo-url% - this will be the URL for your ADT using your promo code (designed for advanced users)

Use cases

A. I want to have a banner ad at the bottom of each email I send out

B. I would like to include a link to the ADT program in my signature

A. To have the banner ad at the bottom of each email:
First, edit each email template you send out by clicking on Email and then on My Email Templates

Next, click to edit the template you want to change: 

Now, add the replacement value of %adt-promo-image% or %adt-promo-image-400% into the email template. 

Next, hit save and you have added the banner to the email - it will result in something like this:

B. I would like to include a link to the ADT program in my signature

To include a link in your signature; let us first edit the email template or container where your signature appears. First, click on Email and then on My Email Templates

Next, click to edit the template you want to change: 

Next, update the signature to include the replacement value of %adt-promo-link%

This will cause your signature to now look like this:
